It might not be a good idea to compare enemy AI to hench AI, but the outcasts in the Deep mission use Flesh Golem, but dont heal it as far as I know. They just let it die and reanimate again. Same can be done with MM henchies, dont let them heal minions. Just like the Kirin mentioned above.
And make monks use healing priority algorithms. Minions and pets have less priority, and mission-crucial allies have top.
On the other hand, I dont think BotM can kill MM henchies, dont the other necro henchies use sacrifice skills as well and still live?

Having an MM in factions is a very good idea, why do you think Anet nerfed the MM build (max of 10 minions and the +2% health loss for each minion healed by blood of the master or whatever it is)?

An MM henchie is a terrible idea for 3 main reasons:
-He/she will sac him/herself to death
-Healer henchie will heal minions instead of people
-An MM henchie will make normal people obsolete

First of all Minion Masters are grossly overrated. In fact they may actually make the mission harder in some cases. My entire team once got wiped because the enemy used Silver Armor and with all those minions attacking him, we all died very, very quickly. Many ele spells that the enemies use obliterate minions with ease. And then there is the problem with pathing. As a monk, minions will sometimes block my path making it harder for me to get to the person I'm trying to heal. Minions are also considered allies, which make things like Shelter or Union die much quicker.
Secondly, henchmen are not the greatest at staying alive. If your minion master henchman dies, that's 10 angry minions that you have to deal with all of a sudden. In the heat of battle, that is going to really hurt you.
Any mission can be done with Master's reward without minion masters. They are by no means neccessary.

my thought is more on the line a mm might be useful. as for henchies i like some characteristics of the factions henchies(mainly earth ele and shock ele) great improvement over the fire ele that uses aoe that kills a great tank. and some i dislike the way the healers counter heal it seems and take forever to res. to me i like when the necro gives me energy when im low but more and more it seems like i take to 2 i hope just die because they dont seems to do enough to help my little group. there has been times i took less henchies for various reasons, i think maybe id consider a mm useful

how wouldnt an mm be needed? Since a henchmen is as good as the player leading them...when i use henchies there more productive than players and sadly, some missions in factions require MM's
